ADHD ASSESSMENT
When challenges with focus, organization, or follow-through affect daily life, it can be hard to know what is behind them. An ADHD evaluation can help clarify whether ADHD or other factors are contributing and identify where support may help.
Level 1
A focused assessment of ADHD, with screening to help distinguish symptoms from other concerns.
Level 2
ADHD assessment with a closer look at psychiatric symptoms and co-occurring concerns.
Level 3
An individualized evaluation that can include cognitive, intellectual, academic, and psychological functioning.
At or before the beginning of your first appointment, your clinician will help clarify the level of assessment that best suits your needs. Information shared during your first session may lead to a recommendation for a different level of assessment.
With your permission, we can share assessment findings and collaborate with your medication provider if you have one. We can also recommend providers if one is needed. Your medical doctor or psychiatrist makes all medication decisions. Bay Area Family Therapy Services does not provide medication management directly.
